Job Title: Library Director

Duties / Job description: The primary function of the Library Director is to perform a variety of complex administrative, supervisory, and professional librarian duties, including knowledge of library specific software and computer programs. The Library Director is responsible for the planning and organization of all programs and services offered by the City’s library system. Direct and indirect supervision is exercised over the work of all library staff members and volunteers.
Qualifications: Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university; Master’s degree in Library Science or a related field is preferred; and Five (5) years experience in library administration, supervisory experience is preferred; or any combination of education and experience which demonstrates the knowledge and abilities necessary to be a successful Library Director.
Salary Range: Begins at $56,374 annually and is enhanced by an excellent benefits package
